SUMMERTIME!

It is finally Summer Break!!  Now we are getting ready for our big trip.  We leave in less than a week and I haven't got any thing ready.  Waiting for the suitcase fairies to arrive.

This summer the kids have a full line up of things to do. All three kids are taking swim lessons at the wellness center. Addie has another season of soccer camp in June, Romie has 6 weeks of pre-dance starting in June, and Sully will continue speech every Tuesday starting when we get home from vacation. I also hope to take lots of trips to the zoo and other fun day activities. School will be back before we know it.

Poor Sully

Just not ready for the cap and gown.  He tried Addie's paper cap on and got it stuck on his head.  I hope they have extra large caps for this guys when it is his turn.

Our Kindergarten Graduate

Addie had two Kindergarten celebrations this year.  On Sunday Addie graduated from the Kindergarten Ministry to the 1st grade Ministry at Park Chapel.  They sang a couple songs and received their very own Bible from Park Chapel.  It was a nice little ceremony.  Grandma and Grandpa came to watch and we went out to dinner after.

On Tuesday Addie graduated Kindergarten at Weston.  We are so proud of all the accomplishments Addie has made this year.  She is reading, writing, doing math, telling time, and all the other big kid things she puts her mind to.  She had a great teacher this year and Weston has proved to be involved with the kids which makes me happy.

Today was the last day of school!  They had the school wide awards and Addie received the M&M award for being a Marvelous and Magnificently Hard Worker.

Weston Grads

Addie was walking away from receiving her diploma in this picture.  My camera was not cooperating due to the lighting and I couldn't get a good focus when she shook Mr Burt's hand.

Getting her first "big kid" Bible.

Addie was so nervous on stage when they called her name.

Checking out the award she received.  She didn't know she was getting one.

She finally found me in the crowd.

So proud of our Addie!

Bennett Get Together

Jeff and Sharon were in town for the Mini so we had a cookout and had all the Bennett kids over.  It was nice catching up with everyone.  The kids loved all the attention from their aunts and uncles.  Aunt Jennifer even talked Devin into putting the sprinkler out for the kids.

Romie's School Program

Romie had her end of the year music program a couple weeks ago at Bradley.  She did a great job performing.  I can't believe that she will be in PreK next year all ready.  My babies are growing too fast.

Mother's Day Gifts

Addie and Romie both made Mother's Day gifts at school this year.  Here are some photos of the presentation of gifts.  Devin also received his Father's Day gift from Romie.  They are too cute.

More soccer pictures

Here are some more photos from our Spring soccer season.  We are done for the Spring but Addie has decided she wants to play again in the Fall.  Romie has decided soccer isn't as much fun as she thought it might be.  It was a lot of fun watching them both.  Sully will be out there before we know it.

My dad and Grandma Nita

Addie was just giddy when she found out her friend Reese was on her team.

Addie had more fun playing with her friend Reese on the sidelines than playing in the games sometimes.
