Little bit of warm weather means getting outside

As soon as the weather gets over 45 degrees the kids think it is time to get out and explore the backyard.  On this day my parents had brought their puppies over for a run in the backyard.  This was one of the last times that the kids had Spanky to chase around.

It was chilly and Princess Camby needed a jacket.

Spanky

We had very sad news this March.  My parents had to put little Spanky to sleep after his battle with urinary issues.  Spanky was on a special diet and medications for most of his short life. Even though he had his medical issues he had a great life and was loved very much by us.  Addie and Spanky had a special relationship.  Addie loved running with Spanky and was always trying to teach him new tricks.  Spanky will be missed very much.

St Patricks Day Buffet

I love trying new recipes and making dishes from other countries.  Our last international meal was for the London games and was a success so I thought I would try a little Irish cuisine for St. Patrick's Day.  We ate a lot sausage, cabbage, and potatoes and it was delicious.  Addie helped which made this meal a little more special.  My parents, Grandma Nita, Trent, Marci, and the kids came too.  We watched a little basketball and did our March Madness picks as well.  Another good time with family.

Upward

We finished up a great Upward basketball season in March.  I am so proud of Addie and Devin for all the hard work they put into it.  It was so special watching them do this together.
