Calm Before the Snow Storm

We were forecasted to receive a large amount of snow and below zero temperatures, so I took the kids out for some play time in the snow. Devin worked a double so we were really bummed about that. The snow was perfect for a few snowmen. Once we got our snowmen built the dogs immediately knocked them down. That night the snow ad wind came in as forecasted. We even lost power a couple of times. I went out three times with the snowblower and shovel to keep up with the snow. I was so happy when Devin got home that night safe and sound.

Bundled up

The kids are enjoying these snow days they are having. The worst part is bundling up in so many layers. Sully reminds me of the little boy from A Christmas Story. He can barely move in all his layers. The girls don't mind it as much.

Fancy Pancakes

Since Devin was working New Year's Day morning he thought he would make the kids some fancy pancakes on the 2nd. He chose snowman designs for today's masterpiece.
