Trav's Birthday Pool Party

We had a great time celebrating Uncle Travis's birthday at their neighborhood pool.  Everyone was able to make it which is hard to do in our large family.  The kids all had a blast swimming but I think Devin and the other big kids had the most fun with the diving board.  Fun hurts the next day just ask Travis and Devin. 

Beautiful Sunset From My Front Porch

We had a beautiful sunset on this night and I couldn't resist getting it on camera.  I didn't have to go to the beach for beautiful scenery like this.

Long Time No Post!

I have not posted any photos in over a month but that does not mean I do not have plenty to post.  So here I go with a month worth of photos all at one time.  I will try to date them correctly as they had happened.  We are now back to school, back to soccer, and done with all of our pool parties for the summer.  We are so ready for fall and all that it has in store for us. Birthdays will be here before we know it. 

"Papaw's Pants"

I tried to take some more pictures of Sully wearing my dad's outfit from his toddler days and here is what I got. Of course there are more but I liked these the best. Sully wasn't the most cooperative because it was hot and he wanted to go inside.  He did, however, enjoy wearing what he calls his "Papaw pants".   I think that I got a few cute shots even though he is such a stinker.

Sun Rings

I took pictures of the sun rings that occurred around the sun a couple of weeks ago.  I had never heard of this until the news reported it and we went out to take a look.  It is caused by particles in the clouds that reflect in the sunlight.  Addie described it as a rainbow around the sun.  Interesting.

Oops..Father's Day Picture

Here are a couple pictures of Devin and the kids on Father's Day.  I had forgotten I took these.  The day was very short for Devin this year because he worked the day shift and then we stayed in the rest of the night.  We did have a nice dinner with dessert and we played games with the kids until bed time.  The kids loaded him up with dark chocolate for his stash that he keeps and got him a new little cooking gadget.  I would have to say he had a pretty good day even though he had to work. 

Coincidence??

In the middle of the night last night Addie woke up panicked looking for Sullivan?  I had to wake her and tell her she was dreaming and that Sully was in his bed sleeping.  She calmed down and went back to sleep.  A few hours later Sullivan woke up screaming.  When I went up to get him he was crying for Addie.  Once he woke up fully he calmed down and as was fine.  That is probably one of the strangest things I have encountered while being the mom of these three crazy kids.  I would love to know what they were dreaming about.  Then again maybe I don't.
