Pioneer Craft Fair

We attended the Pioneer Craft Fair again this year in Shelbyville.  Devin had to work but the kids I went down to join my parents and Grandma Nita to see the sights.  It is a lot different now from when I was little but they had a few new things that kept the kids attention.  The most important things we saw this year were all the animals. They had horses, a donkey, sheep, a bunny, ducks, and chickens.  We even saw a stuffed beaver and a fox that is now a hat.  Papaw bought them root beer floats and we enjoyed fried biscuits with apple butter.  It was fun and I am sure we will do it again next Fall.
Romie remembered this guy from last year.  She couldn't wait to see this horse.

Papaw crossing party lines.  I laughed to myself when I saw him petting the donkey but I wasn't the only one thinking it .  Some guy came up to my dad and asked him if that was a political photo op . Ha!

Another horse.  Romie heaven.

Ye ye ye!  Slapped her like a bad date!

Sully and Grandma Nita playing with beads and rocks.

Grandma and Jo enjoying their floats.

Romie with Pa.  We were happy he was feeling good and walking.

School time.

Fox hat for the Turtle Girl

Romie was trying to figure out if you could get a fox dress.

Sully not sure about the dead animal on his head.

This is a very special picture.  My parents purchased a plaque in my grandparents name to go around the horse track at the fairgrounds.  When we went to look at it there was a horse training at the time.  I was trying to get the horse in the picture but this was the best I could get with my iphone.  Still very cool.
