Straw Curlers

I saw a tutorial about getting "Merida" curls by using straws as curlers. This was a lot of fun. I don't quite think we achieved "Merida" curls but it was definitely curly. We also decided to have a manicure party too since the hair was so nice so shouldn't the nails.  We even went with a patriotic theme for the 4th. I love when my girls wasn't to be girly.

County Fair

Another thing we did the week after vacation was visit the county fair. Devin was working and was happy to pass on the chance at going to the fairgrounds. My parents and Nicaeli went with us and then out for pizza afterwards. The kids got to send all the animals and ride a few rides thanks to grandma and grandpa. A few days after visiting the fair the girls came down with flu like symptoms. Devin thinks that they were victims to a case of swine flu that was going around. Yuck!

Cousin Nicaeli

The week we returned from vacation we started VBS. This was a whole family affair. We even recruited Nicaeli to come help out. The girls loved it. The rest of us were completely exhausted by the end of the week. Sully was completely freaked out by it all that we still haven't been able to get him back in his Sunday School class. These pictures are of Nicaeli and the kids the first night she stayed. The girls tried to find pajamas that looked similar to Nicaeli's   They even went as far as trying to find a matching hair band. Sully tried too. They love their cousin.

I told Sully he needed to go take a nap. This was his idea of a good napping spot. He also thought his truck needed a pull up. Nice try Sully.
