Siesta Key 2013

We had another great trip to Siesta Key this summer. We can never get enough of this place. Grandma and Pa were able to join us for a few days including Father's Day. The Cox family were also there with us. The kids loved all the attention they received this week. Devin and my parents were happy to have found a giant liquor store before checking into the condo. I would like to say two carts full lasted the entire week, but it did get them off to a good start. Sully had a rough start to our trip this year. One our first morning in Sarasota Sully woke up with a very painful ear infection. Before we could get unpacked at the condo we were taking him to the immediate card to be checked out. By the end of the week he was feeling better and enjoyed his vacation. While in Sarasota we headed to the Der Dutchman for a lunch with Grandpa Bennett. The girls enjoyed all the yummy food on the buffet, but Sully slept the entire meal. I, of course, stocked up on the buttermilk cookies and cinnamon rolls. We ate Captain Curt's takeout most every night. This way we were home for all the beautiful sunsets. It also didn't hurt keeping three sun soaked, exhausted kids in for the night. Until next time Siesta Key.
