Officer Sully reporting for duty.

Today was a sad day for a lot of Hoosiers. IMPD laid to rest another police officer killed in the line of duty. We had the funeral footage on tv this afternoon during lunch and Sully was really interested in what was happening. He had a lot of questions to which we answered for him honestly. After he thought about it for a minute he asked me to get all of his "police stuff" out of his closet. We dressed him up and he had yet another question. "Why didn't Uncle Trent get me a gun with this belt?"  He then went on to say he was ready to go help Uncle Trent out and get the bad guys.  Uncle Trent would have a pretty brave partner in Sullivan. He wore the uniform all day even on a walk. As we went on our walk Sully stopped in front of every house and radioed in the all clear. At least we know our neughborhood is safe with this guy on the beat.
