Addie had her first Friendship Feast at school this year and I was lucky enough to volunteer for the festivities. The night before, we made an Indian head dress and vest for Addie to wear to the feast. Addie thougth that it was really cool that I got to go into school and leave like she does everyday. When the kids arrived they got into their groups and went around to craft stations. I was in charge of the tepee making craft. I have a feeling it wasn't a favorite. It didn't compare to the food craft stations. After the stations were over they had a feast in the hallway with the other class. The menu consisted of popcorn and apple juice! Yummy. Just like the first Thanksgiving. They then got to spend the remainder of the day at play stations. Addie had a lot of fun and I am tired.
