Christmas at the Zoo 2012

Favorite picture of all time.

Romie was over her family time. 

This year we went to see the lights at the zoo earlier than normal.  It was still November but with our December schedules I wanted to make sure we saw Christmas at the zoo.  When we arrived to see Santa we were surpised to see that he was actually waiting on us!  I am not sure who was more excited, the kids or me!!  We arrived without a wait and Santa persoally walking the kids to his chair to have a chat.  The picture I took of them walking away with Santa was priceless.  Sully wasn't sure if he should go with Santa but the girls didn't give it a second thought.  The lights at the zoo were beautiful as always and the train ride was chilly.  After the zoo we drove around the circle to check out the tree and then to Noodles and Co. for dinner.  The kids had a great time and Romie was on happy overload.  She had a minor meltdown during dinner but after she ate some mac and cheese she was back to her silly self.  It was a great family night.
