Painting Party

Brooke's 8th birthday party was held at a paint studio in Fortville and what an experience that was!  The girls had a roller coaster emotions creating their masterpieces.  It was difficult for me to not  intervene with my controlling side.  I wanted to grab the paint brush myself and fix everything.   Addie strives for perfection and when something does not turn out as she expected, she is extremely  emotional (I wonder where she gets that from).  Romie, on the other hand, loved panting until she became too tired to finish.  With some convincing, Romie continued with Grandma Peggy's assistance placing the last few strokes on the canvas.  All the girls at the party had great paintings but, of course, my favorites were Addison's and Romie's.
