Election Blues

Since Devin and I were so involved in all the election news it brushed off onto the kids.  On the Friday before the election I volunteered in Addie's class and this is what she wrote in her journal as I walked around the room.  I am proud at seven years of age she was involved in one of our true freedoms of the United States and happy with her candidate.

Romie also proved to be quite the Romney supporter during this election time.  While watching TV one night Romie saw a Obama commercial on air.  She said "Boo!  We don't like Obama do we Mom? We like Romney, right?"  She then said she "votes for Romney because she votes for America". Such a patriotic little kid!
